I don’t know about you but setting concrete goals has always been very motivating to me. I’m a natural list maker so this is a task I find to be pretty rewarding. To make a goal worthwhile it needs to be specific, concrete and measurable. Instead of “become financially secure” try “set aside $5000 for emergencies” or “pay off $3500 in credit card debt”. Once you have a concrete goal, you are ready to start thinking about how you are going to tackle that goal. Make a list of things you can do to reach your goal. Break it down into little steps, set a deadline, and get going! Your goal will seem much more manageable when you have a plan. Now I’m curious, what are your financial goals?
